ICT has undergone an amazing change throughout the school over the past year with the huge investment of interactive whiteboards across the school, into every classroom. This has given the teaching staff the opportunity to really put ICT in its place as a cross curricular subject. The pupils and the staff of Beacon Hill are now consolidating their ability with the new equipment, creating the best of learning environments.

This drive to integrate ICT as a work/life skill into the classroom has led to pupils using the ICT equipment to facilitate communication, becoming more engaged with their work, and raising standards.

Over the last year we have also developed a school radio club broadcasting live on the web from ICRFM, with such success that we now produce a weekly live show in the Ipswich area on 105.7 FM.
